The Unity Central Fountains Project
For more than 50 years, guests and employees at Unity Village enjoyed the cool, refreshing beauty of the long reflecting pool and its spectacular fountains at the very heart of Unity Village.
In the fall of 2003, a portion of the central fountains collapsed. They have been still ever since, and the reflecting pool has been empty. Both await restoration.

Your Opportunity to Help

Your help is needed to restore the central courtyard fountains along with their symbolic and historical value.
The fountain restoration project includes the central fountain, the mirror pools on both ends, and updating the courtyard sidewalks to include lighting and bench seating. Thanks to your generous donations, we have already raised $2 million towards an estimated total project cost of $2.5 million.
To help us reach that amount, we are offering brick pavers that will border the fountains and can be engraved with your message (two lines with 14 characters per line). They can also be used to honor or memorialize a loved one, a friend, or a special date.
All proceeds from the brick pavers will be used for the central fountains restoration project.
To order a brick paver or donate to the Unity Central Fountains Project without purchasing an engraved paver, please use this secure online form.
Other special acknowledgement opportunities are available. For more information, please click here.
Donald M. from Tiger, Georgia, ordered two brick pavers – the first engraved with the words “My beautiful loving wife” and the second with “Our fifty years together.” He gave us permission to share his prayers and hopes for each engraving with you:
“My prayer is that EVERY wife who sees the first paver will hope that it was her husband who purchased it, or maybe a husband will take pause to realize that he has been blessed, as I have, with a beautiful, loving wife.
“I would hope that all couples who see the second paver and who have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, as my wife and I did last month, will wonder if their spouse might have purchased it. Hopefully they might take a moment to hold each other and give thanks to God for their life together.”
