Prayer is a joyous, enriching experience. As we pray, we enter an awareness of God’s presence, and we open our hearts to a sacred and rejuvenating experience. It is in this holy place within us where we find refuge from the outer world, and all our cares melt away.

Take time now to pause, relax, and still your mind in the sanctuary of prayer:



Dear God, in sacred communion I turn to Your presence within. One with You, I am healed and refreshed. Your spirit of love and peace moves from within me into my life and all my relationships.

What perfect peace I find in Your presence, dear God. With You, I know that all is well in my life and in the world. All living things, all creation, are in Your gentle, loving care.

You are the expression of order that reigns throughout the entire universe, and I know that everything is enfolded in Your love. As I reflect on this, I am serene.

Thank You, dear God, for this precious serenity. Peace, sweet peace, flows through my entire being, and I bask in the joy it brings as I enter this time of silent prayer …


God is my unfailing light and source of direction that guides me moment by moment.

God, You are the light upon my path. Whenever I need guidance, I turn to Your presence within me that fills my mind with insight and inspiration. Your light gently guides me to make choices that lead to fulfilling experiences.

How comforting it is to know that for any decision I make, Your unfailing light makes my way sure and true.

I reflect now on the illumined path that is always before me as I turn to You in the silence of prayer …


One with the healing life of God, I am renewed in mind and body.

Aware of this oneness we share, dear God, I know that You are the source of all being, the source of all life. I find comfort in Your presence, knowing that I am filled with divine life. As it flows through me, I am assured of healing in body, mind, and emotions.

I see myself in the spiritual light of truth and know that the life which animates me is Yours. In this awareness, I express fullness of health.

Wholeness is mine through Your loving presence, dear God, and I am grateful as I return to the silence
of prayer …


I am prospered and blessed in the presence of divine love.

Resting further in my awareness of You, God, I see the infinite nature of Your being that includes abundant supply. Everything that I need comes to me from the endless flow of Your substance.

God, You are my unlimited source, and through Your all-providing love, I am blessed. I see the bounty of Your love everywhere around me, and I am confident of Your loving help at all times.

In this quiet time of prayer and reflection, I give thanks for Your abundance …


I am joyful in the presence of God.

I am in awe, dear God, of what You mean to me.
Your constant loving presence is my peace. Your bright shining light is my guidance. Your divine life is my health, and Your infinite substance is my supply.

But more than these, God, I cherish my oneness with You. Knowing that You and I are eternally one, I feel complete joy and contentment. In contemplation of this wonder and happiness, I rest further in the silence
of prayer …



As you bring this sacred time of prayer and meditation to a close, give thanks for your oneness with God and for God’s loving activity in Your life. You can conclude these sacred moments with God by praying the “Prayer for Protection”:

    The light of God surrounds me;
    The love of God enfolds me;
    The power of God protects me;
    The presence of God watches
       over me.
    Wherever I am, God is!
