A Time of Fulfillment

Childbirth is a joyous event, a time of fulfillment, and a time for glorifying God. This is a time when you are fully aware of your oneness with the God-power of creation, and your mind, body, and spirit work in complete harmony with God. How wonderfully comforting it is to know that your delivery will proceed in divine order with the help of God’s loving direction!

Our blessings and our prayers are with you at this joyous time. The following meditation is for you to use to prepare yourself for delivery.

Meditation

As I prepare myself for the delivery of my baby, I am calm, serene, and relaxed. God is in charge, and God is with me and my baby. Every person and every condition connected with this birth is in tune with God’s orderly direction, and everything is perfectly timed.

I know that God, the Creator of all life, is my help in safely delivering my child at the right time. I now release all thoughts and feelings of tension or fear. This is a joyful occasion and “the joy of the Lord” is my strength.

Peace, joy, and power now fill my mind and body. I am a channel through which the creative power of God is working, and my whole being responds with ease. My body is flexible, adjustable, and strong.

All those around me are peacefully trusting God; nothing can disturb them or me.

This new life glorifies God and is being brought into the world safely, with no harm to itself or to me. Every part of me and every function of my body adjusts to this birth. The pattern of perfect birth, set by the creative law of God-life, includes the cleansing and restoring of every part of my body.

After the delivery, every part of my body will be restored to perfection. Filled with thankfulness and joy, I rest. The power of God has brought forth my perfect baby, and this new life brings with it all the love and supply that belong to each child of God.

I praise God for the wonderful work within me, and I thank God for health, strength, and joy as I look forward to caring for my precious baby.
