Education
Life of Prayer

Course Description
Learn how to pray – or polish your prayer skills – and develop your life of prayer with this online class.

You’ll explore the benefits of the affirmative prayers of Unity, take a closer look at traditional prayers, and even create your own definition of prayer.

Learning Objectives
As a student, you’ll develop a daily prayer journal and create a prayer credo – a personal statement of your beliefs about prayer. And when you finish the course, you’ll be able to:
  • Practice Centering Prayer as a means to “enter the silence.”
  • Compare and contrast traditional prayer methods with the Unity method of affirmative prayer and with your own way of praying.
  • Write a Daily Word® message.
  • Describe the principles of Truth that govern the prayer process according to Unity – and apply them in your life.
